Wet Dreams, first solo exhibition by Tino Gelli, explores through its characters drowned by mysticism, the symbolics of water and dreams.
The artist transforms each week the scenery of the show-case of the galerie l’inlassable by overlapping its oil paintings on shower curtains creating a dialogue with a series of ceramic tiles.
A stop-motion video, especially realised for the installation and followed by a soundtrack, in which the artist has recorded all the wordings of the verbs “jouir” and “venir” (as in English “to come” would be used for both words), allows the passerby to dive into the sensuality of a wet world.

Wet Dreams, première exposition personnelle de Tino Gelli explore à travers des personnages baignés de mysticisme, les symboliques de l’eau et des rêves.
L’artiste fait évoluer l’installation en superposant chaque semaine ses peintures à l’huile sur rideaux de douche en dialogue avec une série d’émailles sur carrelages dans la vitrine de la galerie l’inlassable.
Une vidéo en stop-motion, spécialement réalisée pour cette installation, accompagné d’une bande sonore où l’artiste a enregistré toutes les formulations du verbe “jouir” et “venir” en six langues différentes, invite les passants à plonger dans la sensualité d’un monde humide.
