Along with the end of the exhibition Hell is Hot, Victoria Lafaurie imagines an expiatory performance that takes the shape of a public confessional. Abbot Lafaurie offered passer-bys the opportunity to confess to their sins like an express absolution, providing them a certificate of confession and a Host of shrimp while ordering them to a punishment of a particular type.

À l’issue de l’exposition Hell is Hot, Victoria Lafaurie imaginait une performance expiatoire en forme de confessionnal public. L’abbé Lafaurie offrait ainsi aux passants disposés à lui avouer leurs péchés, une absolution express, leur remettant un certificat de confession, une hostie aux crevettes et leur prescrivait un châtiment d’un genre particulier
