À ta recherche is an observation project led by Caroline Corbasson during a one-year residency at the Marseille Astrophysics Laboratory – LAM.
It documents the construction of the NISP wide-field infrared spectrophotometer, one of the two instruments of the European Space Agency’s (ESA) Euclid space telescope, designed to understand the acceleration of the universe by mapping about a billion galaxies (launch planned for 2022).
To carry out NISP, researchers and engineers work daily in artificial spaces with a controlled atmosphere where the slightest dust is banished.
À ta recherche transcribes this universe through three plasticities:
An exhibition (Frac Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur, 28 June – 11 August 2019), a film, a book.
This book is based on video material recorded in Marseille in September 2018 during the development of the Euclid Nisp spectrophotometer and the PFS-Sumire spectrograph.

À ta recherche est un projet d’observation mené par Caroline Corbasson lors d’une résidence d’un an au laboratoire d’astrophysique de Marseille – LAM.
Il documente la construction du spectrophotomètre infra-rouge grand champ NISP, l’un des deux instruments du télescope spatial Euclid de l’agence spatiale européenne (ESA), destiné à comprendre l’accélération de l’univers en cartographiant environ un milliard de galaxies (lancement prévu pour 2022).
Pour réaliser NISP, chercheurs et ingénieurs s’affairent quotidiennement dans des espaces artificiels à atmosphère contrôlée où la moindre poussière est bannie.
À ta recherche retranscrit cet univers à travers trois plasticités :
Une exposition (Frac Provence-Alpes-Côte d’azur, 28 juin – 11 août 2019) un film, un livre.
Ce livre a été réalisé à partir d’une matière vidéographique enregistrée à Marseille en septembre 2018 lors du développement du spectrophotomètre Euclid Nisp et du Spectrographe PFS-Sumire
